This HD Vane Head Anemometer is our most robust version of the highly successful, 100mm diameter, rotating vane head anemometer. It is supplied with fully potted high-temperature electronics and housed in an aluminum enclosure. Each vane head is supplied calibrated with a certificate charting its’ output in frequency (Hz) versus True Velocity (m/s).

Multi-Vane Head Array System
The HD Vane Head Anemometer can be supplied as an Array system, custom built to match customer requirements. The number of units in each array will depend on coverage required and standard followed, and allowable uncertainty of measurement required if converting to volume flow. Arrays of 16/25/36 are not uncommon for large cross sections. Some customers also boom mount them for a slow sweep across a room/tunnel.

Single Channel Vane Head Interface Module
We recently introduced the Single Channel Vane Interface Module (VIM). The VIM is a DIN rail mountable unit which provides 3 proportional industry standard outputs. (4-20mA, 0-10V 0-5V TTL). Each VIM is calibrated to a paired HD Vane Head so that the output from the VIM is proportional to the paired Vane Head Output Signal.
